One of the end of summer traditions for students around the country
is to head off to the store with list in hand to buy school supplies.
Along with buying new school clothes, this was always a favorite time of the year in our household. I don't get to 'do the school supplies' thing anymore .. Instead I get to purchase dorm and apartment things for my 2 college girls. There is some fun in that too ... but then again, I have to deal with the empty nest :-(
** Please make sure that all materials are clearly labeled with child’s name or initials** Please remember that the students are responsible
for having these supplies all school year. So, please take an occassional inventory to see what supplies (if any) need to be replaced or replenished.
4th Grade Supply List
- One pack of 3-hole punched notebook paper, wide-ruled
- Two paper binders with metal clasps and pockets (Duo-Tang)
- One 3-ring binder (1-1/2”, the ones with the plastic display on the front works best)
- Two 3-hole double pocket folders (pockets at the bottom, not on the sides for binders)
- Two spiral notebooks
- Several pencils (#2 preferably)
- Several pens (red, blue, and/or black)
- Large eraser
- Highlighters (any colors)
- Colored pencils (One set of 12 only)
- One set fine tip felt markers (8-12 only)
- Scissors
- Elmer Glue stick(s)
- Pencil box (5” x 8” maximum size)
- Ruler with inches and centimeters
- Simple calculator
- HCS Assignment book
- Magazine rack
- Disinfecting wipes (IE. Lysol, Clorox)
- Last name begins with A-M: box of tissues
- Last name begins with N-Z: roll of paper towels
- NIV Bible (we use it everyday J)
- 2 Plastic Sleeves, (if possible)*
- Subject dividers for binders (optional)
- One current family photograph for Mrs. Weidner’s office (if possible)
*Donated packages of plastic sleeves would be greatly apprecated. We seem to use them a fair amount throughout the year.
