3rd Grade HW Policy

The 3rd grade curriculum is quite extensive.  Because of this, we feel that nightly homework, designed to reinforce lessons from the past day or two, are essential for reinforcement of concepts. 

A detailed homework policy will be sent home the first week of school. 

To summarize:

- HW sheets will be sent home every Monday.

- HW will be assigned Monday through Thursday.

- There will also be monthly assignments. 

-  3rd graders are also expected to keep a nightly reading log. 

-  HW is due as assigned...unfinished HW will result in study hall.

-  We expect all assignments to be done neatly and to the best of the student's ability.

-  All HW assignments are to signed by parents.
