Individual Events Individual Events

IE Information

The Individual Events will take place on Friday Evening and Saturday during the workshop and One-Act sessions. Every effort will be made to avoid conflicts with students who are in One-Acts. Individual Events are not meant to be competitive. Students receive a written critique using a “Festival” style rating system, meaning “Superior”, “Excellent”, “Good”, and “Fair.”  Several outstanding performances/presentations may be selected for the “Critics’ Choice”, and they will be invited to perform/present on the mainstage at the closing ceremonies. Individual Events at Festival are no longer qualifiers for the Lincoln Festival.  The qualifiers have been moved to the spring festivals and students will only be permitted to use one festival as their qualifer for Lincoln (per International Thespian Festival Rules).

A student may enter in ONE of the following categories; there is a $5.00 per event fee:

1) Solo Pantomime

2) Duet Pantomime

3) Monologue (two contrasting pieces)

4) Duo Acting
