The Arizona Interscholastic Association is the host for many of our theatre events.  In addition, in this section, you will find educational opportunities for teachers.  All events are listed on this page and can also be found under Joy of Tournments at www.aiaonline.org

August 28, 2009 is the A.I.A. Theatre Coaches Convention at Metro Tech.  This is a great opportunity to learn about all the events, rules updates and connect with theatre teachers across the state.  Registration form is here and for additional information contact Linda Phillips at lphillips@aguafria.org

November 20-21 , 2009 is the Arizona Thespian Festival at the Phoenix Convention Center. See Arizona Festival on this website for more information.

December 12, 2009 is the Junior High School Festival being hosted by Arizona Thespians atEstrella Foothills High School. See Arizona Junior Festival on this website.

January 30, 2010 is the Central Arizona Acting Festivalat Mesa Commmunity College.  Questions- contact Linda Phillips@ Lphillips@aguafria.org

February 6,  2010 is the Southern Arizona Acting Festival at the University of Arizona in Tucson.  For more information contact Steve Halper at halper38@gmail.com

February 6, 2010 is also the Northern Arizona Acting Festival at Payson High School. For more information contact Kathy Siler at ksiler@pusd.com

February 19-20, 2010 is the State One Act Festival at TBA.  You must qualify for this event at one of the above festivals.
