Welcome to my very own school web site. I have been teaching Special Education at Coronado for the past twelve years. Teaching is my second career and, after a stint teaching Social Studies, I believe that I have finally found my niche in education. Prior to entering public education, I had long career in the Army and, upon retirement, never believed that would ever enjoy another job as much as I did serving in the military. Boy, was I ever wrong! There is not a day that goes by that I do not recieve some form of entertainment from my students while learning something about myself and this big wide world we live in. My driving force in Special Education is that I firmly believe there is a "place" in this country where our students can become productive citizens.
