212 Degree Student of the Month 212 Degree Student of the Month

                                    

In the W.I.L.D. we are continuously looking for students who give the extra degree..that extra effort by being an exempliary students. Someone who internalizes the truth that it is "Not enough to be good when you have the ability to be BETTER! Each month we will choose two students who can identify with being a 212° student and fulfill the criteria below. The family will vote on one and I will choose the other. Criteria for 212° Student of the Month

  • All work must be turned in on time
  • Exemplify the behavior of a Smittie’s K.I.D.S. everywhere we go
  • No behavioral check marks in conduct folder
  • Goes out of their way to help peers
  • Improvement in or good grades
  • Academic Excellence
  • Character
  • Active and/or community service
  • Leadership
  • Accomplishments: academic, athletic, or community
  • Attendance
  • Attitudes toward others / learning
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Cooperative and dependable
  • Helpful to teachers
  • Shows effort
  • Positive attitude toward school
  • Considerate of others feelings
  • Has a Wakened Imagination and if Living their Dream

*    Students who fulfill all these requirements must be anonymously nominated by their peers and a secret ballot will be passed out to vote. Peer voting comprise of 80% of the total vote; team teachers will complete the final 20%.
