Welcome to Fourth Grade!
Expanding knowledge beyond literal thinking emerges in the fourth grade. Students use a “hands-on ” approach to learning as they develop and apply inferential, critical, and creative thinking skills to acquire new knowledge.
Ms. Shore, Ms. Vallatini, and Mrs. Mulcahy work with all fourth grade children. Each teacher provides instruction to their homeroom class in all subjects with the exception of written language with Ms. Shore, mathematics with Ms. Vallatini, and science and social studies with Mrs. Mulcahy.
The fourth grade team works closely together to plan and share resources so the learning activities and experiences for the students are the best possible.
