July 24, 2010 Today was busy. I was coyping off the State Standards for Pre-K and K. It was interesting to see how those Standards are being met in a Montessori classroom. For example:

The year is over and with Summer comes many changes... I am excited about my MMSR training.
(MMSR? Maryland Model for School Readiness)
It began today and will continue until April 2011. We talked a lot about assessment and how assessments should lead teachers to modify and use curriculum to support the learning experiences of children.
In Montessori terms "Follow the Child!"
