Dear Parents,

We are continuing with Study Island.  Students are required to earn 10 Blue Ribbons every week.  Students should be reading at least 20 minutes EVERY night and an hour on weekends.  They should also keep reviewing basic math facts: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division on a daily basis.

We are now in the third marking period.  This is the turning point of the year.  You can help your child by checking their homework every night, reading with them and studying with them.  If we work together, I know your child can succeed in school.
