It's hard to believe that the leaves are already waving their last goodbye as they flutter down on the lawns and driveways (that we just cleared)! The children have had a busy year with their new routines and expectations and we're so proud of their hard work.
We want to thank all our families and Room Parents for their help with the Halloween parties! What a fun Day!
This month will certainly be cooler, so please make sure the children are dressed in layers and have appropriate foot gear.
Please remember that we will have an Emergency Go Home Drill next Tuesday the 10th at 3:15. Children will be dismissed to the emergency location that you gave on your form in September. Please let us know if you must make changes to that plan in advance so we can notify the office. School will be closed on Wednesday the 11th in observance of Veteran's Day and November 25th- 27th for Thanksgiving.
On November 19th & December 8th, the children will have half days so we can meet with our third grade families for conferences (both day and evening).
We appreciate your encouragement at home to continue reading books and writing in their Notebooks on the weekends and holidays! We are so Thankful to have your support in having the children live a Reading and Writerly Life at home!
