Goals:
1. Spread the game of Ultimate as much as possible.
2. Promote the Spirit of the Game.
3. Make ourselves and our teammates better players through practice, commitment,
and healthy competition.
Meeting Times:
- Due to the upcoming holidays and homework demands we will NOT be having practice for a few weeks. We will continue practice after winter break! Stayed tuned to the website and to Channel 6 News for more announcements.
Current News:
- We have elected the new officials for the 2010 year. Kalina is our President, Garret our VP, and Treasurer is Danielle!
- We have started the new year of Ultimate at Coronado!!!! We play on the Coronado High School soccer field and the practices/scrimmages last from 10 am to about 11:45am
- You must have a signed permission form and health form to play. You can pick these forms up at anytime during school in Room 913. You can join at anytime. Hope to see you on the field!!!!
Spirit of the Game:
" Ultimate has traditionally relied upon a spirit of sportsmanship which places the responsibility for fair play on the player. Highly competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of the bond of mutual respect between players, adherence to the agreed upon rules of the game, or the basic joy of play. Protection of these vital elements serves to eliminate adverse conduct from the Ultimate field. Such actions as taunting of opposing players, dangerous aggression, intentional fouling, or other 'win-at-all-costs' behavior are contrary to the spirit of the game and must be avoided by all players."
