Science Earth Science

In Earth Science, the fifth grade is learning about WATER and how important it is to life on Earth.  We are conducting investigations and activities to observe water in its three states of matter: liquid, solid, and gas.

 Water, Water, everywhere...

• Look for examples of water around you every day. 

• Can you find signs of evaporation - the process of liquid water changing into water vapor? 
• How about examples of condensation - the process of water vapor (gas) condensing back into its liquid state? 
• Precipitation does not happen very often in San Diego, but we might be rain soon.  What is happening to create the rain? 

Think about the water all around you.
