Mrs. Hurt's Class Webpage February 4-8 Language arts: This week we will be learning about cause and effect as well as contractions with not. We are reading Ring! Ring! Ring! Put Out the Fire. For spelling, we will practicing blended words with -s, -sk, and -sp. In math, we will be learning about measuring using centimeters, identifying and counting quarters and fact families. Social Studies: Last week we talked about George Washington, this week we will be disussing Abraham Lincoln and learning the effects both Presidents had on our country. Just a reminder that the tardy bell rings at 7:55 am. If your child is not in class by the time the bell rings, they will be considered tardy.
