Second Grade

  Hello! Welcome to second grade. My name is Barbara Gammon and I am a second grade teacher at Highland View Elementary.  I have taught for 20 years and I truly love teaching second grade. Second grade is by far, my favorite grade to teach! Second graders have the best traits that students can possess. These students are fun to teach and excited to learn to discover new things. They are like little sponges!  I look forward to working with you and your child this year. I plan to make second grade a positive and productive year for everyone.

We are going to have so much fun this year learning new things, getting better at being organized, and making new friends. I know we are going to have a fantastic year!
