Foundations course taught to all freshmen. Topics include study skills, Internet safety, advanced Internet search strategies, why study core subjects, college research, career research, and high school programs of study.  

Accounting 1
Attica Senior High School -Business
Introduction to accounting course that includes Peachtree Complete Accounting Software and Spreadsheet Applications.  

Basic & Intermediate Computer Applications
Attica Senior High School -Business
Microsoft Office 2003 'college level' course that teaches Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint applications. The Intermediate class will also learn about Web 2.0 tools.  

Computing Essentials 1
Attica Senior High School -Business
Introduction to computers course that includes the most recent developments in the computer industry, computer applications, the Internet, and the components of a computer system. Laboratory exercises stress Microsoft Office 2007 application programs such as word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and database. Computing Essentials 1 gives you the experience of an online college course. Classes are in a face-to-face environment where facilitated learning occurs. Students also utilize an online course management program called Moodle, participating in forum discussions, tracking assignments and deadlines, accessing resources, and uploading assignments.

Computing Essentials 2
Attica Senior High School -Business
Computer course designed to develop skills to solve problems using common microcomputer software. Topics include microcomputer fundamentals, word processing, electronic spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software. Computing Essentials 2 gives you the experience of an online college course. Classes are in a face-to-face environment where facilitated learning occurs. Students also utilize an online course management program called Moodle, participating in forum discussions, tracking assignments and deadlines, accessing resources, and uploading assignments.
