2011- 2012 Lind FFA Officers include: President- Brandon Knodel Vice President- Mackenzie Ellis Secretary- Lexie Whitaker Treasure- Bryson O'Neill Reporter- Micheala Doyle Sentinel- Derrick Laird Historian- Grayson Morris Chaplin- Andy Derrick The Lind FFA Agronomy and Marketing Team traveled to Indianapolis in October to compete in the National Agronomy and Marketing CDE competition! Both teams did great as the Agronomy Team earned 3rd in the Nation and the Marketing Team earned 5th in the Nation!!! The Agronomy Team consisted of Bridger Smith who earned 8th place individually, Connor O'Neill, Maya Whal, and Scott Diefenbach! The Marketing Team consisted of Saige Casady, Jessica Hernandez, and Brandon Knodel! Congratulations to both teams and great job representing our school and community! At the beginning of the school year the Lind FFA took part in two competitions, Potato and Soils Judging and competed at state level. The Potato judgers on the 1st team who place 1st in State were Connor O'Neill who earned 1st place individually, Bryson O'Neill who earned 2nd place individually, Micheala Doyle who earned 5th place individually, Maya Whal who earned 8th plave individually and Bridger Smith. On the 2nd team of Potato judgers who recieved 3rd place in State are Branden Aby who earned 7th place individually, Dane Whal who earned 10th place individually, Bryden Laird, Grayson Whitaker, and Toby Pence. The 1st team of Soils inculdes Brandon Knodel who place 9th in State individually, Bryson O'Neill, Bridger Smith, Connor O'Neill, and Scott Diefenbach. On the 2nd team of Soils includes Maya Whal, Beau Jones, Grayson Whitaker, and Toby Pence. All teams worked very hard at the beginning of the school year to get ready for these competitions. They have had a short break and about ready to hit hard on their studying to get ready for more competitions coming up in the Spring.
