This course is designed to teach students skills which they will need upon graduation from school. Life skills which enables the students to communicate and cope effectively in the outside world are stressed. Analysis of poetry, short stories and the novel for the appreciation and understanding of human nature will be examined in the context of human experiences. Writing assignment skills taught to stress the importance of effective communication and vocabulary development is emphasized.
