Students in Kindergarten – Sixth grades re finishing up a printmaking unit.
Kindergarten – second grade students carefully observed and drew objects in their sketchbooks like flowers, scissors or their own shoes! Students in third through sixth grades learned about and drew famous landmarks from different countries. Then all the students transferred their designs on to a Styrofoam printing plate. They inked the plate and pulled the prints. Students in third – sixth grades experimented when applying the ink seeing how they could create unique prints.
