Puzzles are important play for children for a couple of reasons.....  first, puzzle play brings in different modalities of learning:  visual and tactile as well as spatial relationships and secondly, because the children have to problem solve in order to solve the puzzle.  Problem solving skills transfer all curricular areas:  math, reading, science, social studies and language.

Try to score the highest score on one of the puzzles.  At the end of solving the puzzle, the puzzle maker will ask if you want to be listed.  Oh, go ahead- it is just for fun!
