~C.A.S.E. Training (Creating and Maintaining a Safe Environment)
Before you may come into the classroom as a volunteer, the Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Rochester require you to attend a C.A.S.E Training course.  The course is offered at schools and churches throughout the Diocese of Rochester, are listed in bulletins and on St. Louis School's Website and are about two hours in length.

After you attend a training course, you will submit your certificate to the Main Office and a Safe Environment badge will be made for you.

Note from our Principal, Mr. Bellini:

Upon entering the building, all adults must:

1. Sign in at the Main Office window.

2. Wear the Safe Environment badge while on campus for ANY DUTY.

3. If you have lost your badge, there is a $2.00 replacement fee.

4. It will take one week to process a new badge, so please plan ahead.

5. Please leave your badge in the Main Office to avoid losing it.

SAFETY ALERT FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS:

The school buildings are locked at dismissal 3:00 pm. NO ONE will be allowed to re-enter any building after they are dismissed with out signing in at the office and having the office call the classroom. Students have time to get all materials needed for the evening before they leave.

The cleaning people and teachers have been instructed NOT TO ALLOW ANYONE IN THE BUILDING.  Please do not put them in an uncomfortable position.

If your child has forgotten something that she/he needs, you may bring her/him to school the next day at 8:30am.  Come to the office and explain that your child needs to go to class to get something.  Once they get what they need, they are to come back to the front hall of the Elementary Building.

Thank you for keeping the school property safe.
