Elf-- (*****)  No doubt one of the funniest movies I have ever seen!  A Christmas movie with a whole bundle of laughs!  Buddy the Elf was abandoned at a young age, and snuck into Santa's sack.  Taken to the North Pole and adopted by elves, Buddy eventually realized he didn't fit in.  His father finally told him about his real dad, and so Buddy travels to New York on foot to find him.  His adventures in New York are absolutely hilarious, but Buddy does get to spread lots of Christmas cheer...in his own very special way!  Gotta love this movie!  (D)

Get Smart!-- (*****)  This is one hilarious movie!  Some of the laughs may be inappropriate for kids, but the movie itself is great.  Maxwell Smart is a secret agent that is amazing at his desk job but they want to keep him there rather than place him in a field position.  However, agents are exposed and the president is going to be killed if they don't use him as the evil agents begin to run amok.  So, Max begins working with Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway--love her!) to battle the forces of evil.  Oh, the things they do and the places they go...absolutely the funniest movie!  Go check it out! (D)

Johnny English-- (****)  James Bond never looked better!  Johnny English is a spy for MI6,the International spy network based in England.  This movie is hilarious, though of course a little inappropriate at times so viewer discretion advised, LOL.  Anyway, Johnny takes on the crown of England in this story where he even gets to meet the pope, break into an office building, and leap from astounding heights!  He really is hilarious...and sort of stupid.  You will laugh!  (D)

Land of the Lost-- (*)  If it were possible on my rating system to give a movie less than one star, this movie would qualify.  This is one of the stupidest, most pathetic, un-funny comedies I have ever seen.  Farrell, who was hilarious in Elf, is not funny at all in this movie.  I can't even tell you a good summary of the movie because there is barely a plot at all.  Seriously, it is like one ridiculous, unconnected event after another.  I would not waste my time watching this movie if I were you.  AND on top of all that, it is very crude and totally inappropriate for anyone under the age of 16.  This is third on my top ten list of movies to never watch again.  (D)

The Pacifier-- (*****)  Vin Disel is absolutely the funniest baby-sitter!  A man working for the secret-service is killed, and Vin Disel is brought in to protect his family from the information they want.  At first the family really despises him, but then as things heat up, they realize that he is the most awesome person to have around ever!  Laughs galore in this great movie.  (D)

The Sandlot-- (****)  The Sandlot is a really silly movie!  It focuses on a new kid named Smalls who moves into the neighborhood and begins to play baseball with a group of crazy neighborhood kids.  Then, his father's signed Babe Ruth baseball is hit over the fence and goes into the evil yard....of a giant kid-eating dog!  This is a hilarious movie and the kids love it!  (D)
