Guidelines for Junior High Art Classes

Art Projects: 70%

Sketchbooks: 20% (Sketchbooks will be collected each semester for a grade.)

Homework, Quizzes, and Preliminary Sketches: 10%

For each art project students will be given an outline of specific criteria that they need to complete.  Their grade will be based on completion of the criteria (50%) and their effort/conduct/participation in class (50%).  Homework and sketch book assignments are due the next art class. Half credit will be awarded for homework turned in one day late. No credit will be given for homework that is two days late.

Homework assignments are written on this calendar the day they are due!

Students who need extra help, more time to work on art projects, or have questions with homework or art projects, can meet me in the art room at 7:30am and we can work then or schedule another time that works.
