The A.J. Gomes School is committed to working with the community in a variety of ways.  Read below about several of our community partnerships which help enrich the lives of our students.

SMILES MENTORING

SMILES is a school based one-to-one mentoring program serving the A.J. Gomes School.  By working with school, business and community partners on a clear mission to affect social change, SMILES strives to help students achieve their personal and educational potential by pairing them with positive adult mentors.

Every Friday community members help our students by providing educational and social interaction.  The SMILES program currently services Grades 1, 2, 4, & 5 at the Gomes School.  If you are interested in becoming a SMILES mentor click the link below.
