These students started using the eMates for a research project. Their project was to make a medieval newscast and present it to the class. Many of the students were able to use the eMates as a TelePrompTer via an EZCARD and a 36" monitor. They loved using it as it made their newscast look more professional.
I have used these machines for years and the students love them because each one has their own, with their own files on them. They can access them anywhere and many have opted to take them home to finish their writing prompts on them.
Currently I have some students that want to buy one to use when they get to high school. I'm trying to get portable stylewriters for them so they can print.
I've had some of them break during use and I have some students that can take them apart in a matter of minutes.
I plan on using these for a very long time and hope that my students continue to find them inviting and useful.
