Current Events

You can never learn too much about current happenings in the world.  It is really important to stay up-to-date on things that are occurring because they just may affect your life!

I believe to understand the way our current society operates, students must understand history that is taking place all around them, all the time.  With that, we will be discussing current events often in class and you will be required to complete a 5 paragraph summary on an international news article that deals with history, government, economy, or geography, and share it with the class once a marking period.
