CNN Student News

We have a daily warm-up activity that requires students to take notes on current events from a CNN program called Student News. Students who need / want to look at this program on their own so as to double check or review their notes can access the program online at the following web site: http://www.cnn.com/studentnews.

I would also encourage parents to see what the program has presented so as to provide you an opportunity to discuss with your child your perspective on any issues that come up and help them to develop their understanding of some of the topics.

On Fridays we will take a brief quiz covering the most significant news stories that were presented in the program during the week.
