Welcome Students, Families, and Friends!!

First Grade is a wonderful year.

The first graders are full of energy and excitement.  This is definitely a year to remember.  First grade is a great stepping stone in many areas.  Together, we can make this year a fun learning experience. 

Reading is the key to success.  It is important that your child reads or is read to as often as possible.  Reading 20 minutes a day is a great goal.  We will have some great incentives for the students.

We love to learn about our world near and far.  We will become more aware of ourselves, our community, our environment, animals, people, and much more. First grade is a great place to be for discovering and observing things all around us.
