In case you were wondering.... here's a little bit about me.

I am a native Las Vegan.  I attended Clark High School my Sophomore and Junior year and then spent my Senior year at Bishop Gorman High School where I graduated in ****.  (You thought I was going to tell you!)

I spent my post-high school years in the United States Navy.  I was stationed aboard the USS Dixon in San Diego, CA.  After serving 4 years, I moved to Fort Worth, TX.  I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics in ****.  (Got you again.)

I taught for a few years in north San Diego County (Oceanside and Vista), then moved back to Las Vegas to be near my family.  I taught at Eldorado High School for two years then transferred to Coronado High School at the beginning of the 2006-2007 school year.

I have two kids, Kristyn and Russell, and several pets: Molly the dog, Esme the cat, Tori and Spikey the tortoises, and many fish that I could not begin to tell you the names of.  (My kids could tell you but I quit keeping track.)

I like running 5ks, camping, hiking, riding bikes and any other type of low-key adventure.  I like reading, playing games, laughing, and HDTV : ).  Most of all I love spending time with family.

Did I forget to mention I love teaching math?!
