Lacy Classroom Rules Everyone has the right to be respected. No one has the right to interfere with learning. Everyone is responsible for their own actions. The following sets of rules are derived from these two basic rights and responsibilities 1. Be in your assigned seat, quiet and working when the second bell rings. 2. No talking during presentations or instruction. Extraneous talking is inconsiderate; it is distracting to the speaker and people who are trying to listen. 3. No rude remarks or gestures (including rolling the eyes), teasing, swearing or put downs. 4. Keep hands, feet books and other objects to yourself. Leave other people and their property alone, that includes pencils, pens, etc. Throwing ANY objects in the classroom is a violation. 5. You are expected to bring materials to class 6. Never challenge a teacher’s decision in front of the class. I am happy to discuss any situation with you privately on a one-to-one basis. If you approach me during an appropriate time, I will listen to what you have to say, and I will do my best to address your concerns. «««««« Consequences Warning – You will be given verbal or non-verbal warning Conference with me to discuss and remediate the problem Continued– Your behavior grade will be changed to “needs improvement”. Parent will be notified.
