SOLs are a big stress that loom over teachers and students. However, there's no reason to feel overwhelmed when we have the tools and strategies to be successful! THINK ABOUT IT: You wouldn't expect someone to win a marathon when they've never run a race...would you?????That would be as silly as saying a student should pass the SOL when they've never even prepared. NOW is the time to START! Here are some tools I use in my class. Some of these strategies won't be taught until the end of the year, but I'm giving you these tools IN ADVANCE (Shh! It's our secret!) There's no reason we can't start NOW at being successful on the SOLs!
