6th grade Career Investigations/Instructional Aide
Hey, everyone! Let me tell you a little about myself. I have lived in White Deer almost my entire life. I grew up in the community of White Deer and began school here in kindergarten. I graduated from White Deer High School. After high school I attended Clarendon College and then Texas Tech University where I received a bachelor degree in Food Science and Technology. My husband, Chris, also grew up attending school in White Deer. He graduated the same year as I did from White Deer High School. Our son has also been attending White Deer ISD since kindergarten. He is in the 5th grade this year. I love the community of White Deer and the sense of pride that our school offers. We have wonderful students that are a joy to work with. I feel so privileged to give back to the school and community what it has given me.
The one thing I enjoy most when I am not at school is relaxing. I love to watch old black and white movies and t.v. shows. I also enjoy reading mysteries, going camping (RV of course), and walking. I love spending time with my 3 year old nephew and my friend's 3 year old daughter. They are loads of fun and say the funniest things. It is really great to watch them grow and learn.
