WEB INTERNET QUESTION

Answer the question below and bring it to school for a choice of candy.  Try to make your reponse be at least half of a page and try to write in more than one paragraph.  Each question or statement can be a paragraph.  Answer this question on Sunday, February 5 and bring it to school  on Monday, February 6 for a candy treat.

Valentine's Activity:  We will celebrate Valentine's on Friday, February 10 at 11:30.  Any students who want to exchange Valentines should bring them on that day.  If you would like to send some treats, please let me know what you plan to provide.  Thank you!!!

2. BEHAVIOR:  It is my hope each day that students will do a great job working quietly, using their time wisely to complete their work, and will avoid socializing with their neighbors and will do their best to complete high quality work.  If your child receives a behavior note, please reinforce the importance of positive behavior at school.  If your child receives a certificate for excellent behavior praise them and reinforce your expectation to receive a certificates for the rest of the year.

3. Reading Logs:  Please be supportive of this important instructional program by making sure your child reads each night, fills out their log, and sign their log.  Please talk with your child about what they read each night.

4. Spelling Words:  Go to My Homework and click on weekly spelling words for the current list of words.  Print it out and bring it to school on Monday and you will receive a candy.  Complete your spelling packet by Friday.  Study for Friday's test.  Complete 2 or 3 contract assignments at home.

5. CREATIVE WRITING STORIES:  During the year I will publish on my website the stories your children write in my class.  Please, if your child completes their final draft at home, please send it to me by e mail of have your child bring it to school on a flash drive.  If your child's story is not on my website that may mean they did not finish their rough draft and should be encouraged to do so.

6. Our Nation At Home Projects or Research Report:  The latest at home projects or research report is on the topic The Causes of the Revolutionary War.  Please go to My Homework to the left to access the requriements.  The projects or report are due on Tuesday, February 21.
