IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REMINDERS 1. Grade Reports: The second grade report of the 2nd trimester will come home on Thursday, November 12. Please look for this report and sign it and send it back on Friday. Please look for the reports every Thursday. Any students wanting to play basketball must have no D's to play.
2 The behavior of the class has not been quite as good lately. Some students are having difficulty focusing on their work and using their time wisely and as a result are not getting their work done. Also, socializing has been increasing. If your child's name does not appear in the A+ Quiet Club and the Time Wisely Club, please speak to them about the importance of using their time wisely. 3.AMERICA RESEARCH REPORT REQUIREMENTS. About every 5 weeks the students will receive a new report to work on. Please go to My Homework page to view the requirements for the first report. Our next report has two choices: either a report on the colony at Jamestown or a report on the French and Indian War. The report is due Friday, November 20. 4 Reading Logs: Please be supportive of this important instructional program by making sure your child reads each night, fills out their log, and sign their log. WE HAVE ABOUT 10 STUDENTS WHO EITHER DID NOT DO THEIR LOG OR MISSED 1 OR 2 DAYS LAST WEEK. 5.Spelling Words: Go to My Homework and click on weekly spelling words for the current list of words. Print it out and bring it to school on Monday and you will receive a candy. 6.CREATIVE WRITING STORIES: During the year I will publish on my website the stories your children write in my class.
