IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS: ALL HOMEWORK IS LISTED IN THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER NOT AUGUST!!! A. D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Program) has begun under the direction of Officer Steve Abrocrombie. This is a 10 week program. During the duration of this program each class will be collecting canned and dry food products and used clothing for donation to Tracy Interfaith Ministries. Please take part in this worthwhile donation drive. B. BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION: There is a class competition at Hirsch to see who can contribute the most boxtops for education. There are really great class incentives like a ice cream party. Help our class compete for the class rewards by sending your box tops to our class. C. AMERICAN HISTORY PROJECT!!! Our next research project is a research report on The Native American Cultural Regions. It will be due on September 22. See My Homework and click on Native American Research Project for Details. D. GRADE REPORTS!!! Grade reports come home every Thursday. The first grade report will sent home on Thursday, September 4. Please sign them and return them to school every Friday. E. READING LOG!!!
