Week of November 23, 2009 Language Arts-This week we will begin learning about fables and we will write our own fables. We will also learn about run on sentences. Math-This week we will continue chapter 4. In chapter 4 we will be learning about addition and subtraction and the different strategies and diagrams for solving these problems. We will focus on the partial sum method. We will also be reviewing temperature. Science-We will begin Science again after Thanksgiving break. Social Studies- We will begin Social Studies again after Thanksgiving break. November News 11-No School! Honor the Veterans. 12- First Quarter Ends 15-American Education Week 18-Report Cards-PTA Meeting-7:00 P.M. 20-Dress Down Day-$1 students 22-Chinese Auction 25-Early Dismissal-12:10 P.M. 26-30-No School! Have a Great Holiday! Classes resume December 1, 2009.
