Week of November 9, 2009 Language Arts-This week we will continue our second theme, Nature Walk. We will also begin our second Writer's Workshop. During this Writer's Workshop we will be writing a description. Math-This week we will continue chapter 3. In chapter 3 we will be learning about place value, money, and frames and arrows with 2 rules. We will also be learning about ways to make change. Science-This week in Science we will finish chapter 10 and have our chapter test. In chapter 10 we will be learning about the three different types of matter. Social Studies- This week in Social Studies we will take our chapter 3 pretest. November News 11-No School! Honor the Veterans. 12- First Quarter Ends 15-American Education Week 18-Report Cards-PTA Meeting-7:00 P.M. 20-Dress Down Day-$1 students 22-Chinese Auction 25-Early Dismissal-12:10 P.M. 26-30-No School! Have a Great Holiday! Classes resume December 1, 2009.
