Academic Reports

If a student fails to bring in homework when it is due, they will receive an Academic Report. On this form, they will fill out the homework assignment they didn't complete and the reason for not completing it. They must get a parent signature and return it to school the following day with the completed assignment. If the student does not pass in both of these items the following day, they will stay in for lunch/recess to complete the missing work.

  Friday Folders

Every few weeks, your child will bring home a "Friday Folder" consisting of graded homework and classwork (although it is called a Friday Folder, it may go home any day of the week). Please sign the Grade Log and have your child return it to class the following day. If your child is bringing home papers with grades lower than 70 they are able to re-do these assignments on a separate sheet of paper. We ask that they staple the "re-do" to the original and we will average them to determine the new "Final Grade". This policy is meant to keep you informed of how your child is performing so that there are no surprises when it is time for midtrimester reports and report cards.
