HOMEWORK ~ The Link Between Home and School

Homework is an important piece of the learning puzzle that needs to be there in order for everything else to stay together nicely and look great.  It will ALWAYS be an extension of what we do in the classroom that day. 

Homework will be given Monday through Thursday.  Homework is expected to be brought to class the very next day unless otherwise noted.  If you finish your homework quickly please feel free to use one of the websites I have listed for extra practice.  On Friday the homework will be to brush up on math facts and visit any websites listed on my webpage if time allows. 

It is extremely important that you complete homework independently so I am able to gauge what you know and what you don't.  I expect that parents will oversee homework by making sure it is done and neat and to quickly skim it for accuracy.  If the parents help too much I will not know what you are having difficulty with.  Parents can help with one example problem but you should try your best with the rest. 

REMEMBER: check the "MY PUZZLES" link on our website after you are done with homework.  One High Score winner from each class, who beats my time in each puzzle, will earn a prize!
