Miss Denomme's Organizational Craziness!
The change from fifth to sixth grade can be a bit consuming. I place serious emphasis on being organized each day. To make it as easy as possible I require that all students have a one inch hard binder to store their reading and language arts work in. All binders will be organized by me, but I need parent assistance to help keep things in order. The binder is graded and should be organized as follows:
~ one folder for language arts and paper follows
~ one folder for reading and paper follows
~ folders act as dividers for the two subjects
~Only reading work should be in the reading folder and only language arts work should be in the language arts folder. I know this sounds simple but I have seen math worksheets and maps dangling out of binders in the past.
Page reinforcements, homework bucks, and sticky notes should be in the front of the binder.
Please check your child's reading and laguage arts binder every night to make sure it is in order and updated. Thank you for your help!
