Classroom Happenings

Readers' Workshop- We will begin a genre study this week. Throughout this study, we will be looking at non fiction, realistic fiction, historical fiction, poetry, memoir, dramatic literature, and fairy tales/folk tales. Writers' Workshop-We will be revisiting narrative writing. Students will share their favorite memories in a memoir. Science-Our new unit of study is on living things. Social Studies-We are now learning about mountains and rivers.
