In this link I will share websites that I feel may be helpful or interesting to my students.  They may be sites that will enrich the material we are learning in class, provide extra practice or assistance in studying, or help in researching a topic of interest.

www.guest.portaportal.com/acschool  Type in this address, then click on typing (lower left corner), then click on "Learn to Type".  Your child can then use a fun program to practice keyboarding skills.  We have used this program in our technology class and the children really enjoyed it.

www.atlantiscs.org  This is our school's website.  Check it frequently for general school information, such as lunch menus, special events, spirit day information, and more.

www.edselect.com/reading.htm Click on the section entitled "Helping Your Child Learn to Read".  It provides a bunch of wonderful strategies and practical suggestions for working with your youngster to improve his/her reading skills and enjoyment of reading.

www.brainpopjr.com This website has great interactive review quizzes, activities, vocabulary lists, and many other fun features on a variety of grade level topics.  It is a fun and easy site to use.  User name: atlantis  password: atlantis

www.readkiddoread.com This website, developed by the famous author , James Patterson, is a fantastic resource for suggestions about books to read with your children at all different grade, age, and interest levels.
