Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday.  A reading and homework log will be given to each student on Monday morning.  Homework is an important part of your child's education.  Please be sure to sign the reading log portion of the homework log before your child passes it in on Friday.  Children must bring the log to school each day to record the daily homework assignment. I do not give a lot of homework, so I will expect your student to complete the assignments that I give.  Reading each night is the single most important thing you can have your child do each evening.  You will also complete the Fast Start packet and pass that in on Friday as well.  Although only 8 Fast Start activities are required, extra credit will be given to students who complete the entire packet.
