The Spring Scholastic Book Fair will take place during the week of April 25-29.  This is the Buy One, Get One Free Sale!!  Our class will visit the sale during our regular library time on Wednesday, April 27th at 12:15.  Parents are encouraged to browse and buy with your child at that time or on Tuesday, April 26 at 6:00 PM.  Please have your child prepared with a labeled envelope for cash purchases.

The most exciting news at Atlantis is that the entire school is participating in the Responsive Classroom program, which will guide us all to become caring, kind classroom communities. 

To ensure that we start each day as bright and eager learners, we will gather into Morning Meeting.  We will cheerfully greet each other, share exciting news, and engage in whole group activities, which could include singing, learning a poem, or chanting.

Every student in the class will gain or improve important social skills:  cooperation, self-worth, responsibility, and a sense of community.  Their self-confidence and respect for others will also strengthen.
