Welcome Computer Science I consists of 3 basic units: (1) MS Office 2007, (2) Web Design and (3) Programming. The first part of the course exposes students to commonly used software applications through hands on projects. This unit concentrates on the usage of MS Office 2007 for the introduction of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher applications. The second and third part of this course exposes students to potential computer science careers, which encompasses a brief introduction to web design and the world of HTML, as well as an introduction to computer programming. Supplies You will need a flash drive. Flash drives are available at your local office supply store. A capacity of 1 GB is sufficient.  This flash drive will remain in the classroom at all times, and be dedicated to this class. Textbook You will not need a textbook for this class.
