Welcome to the Lace School Music page.

      It's October and an exciting new year is beginning! I welcome the returning 4th and 5th Graders back to Room 29 and look forward to getting to know all of the new 3rd Grade students.
      I consider each new year an "adventure" and hope that the students will, too. Adventures are a chance for us to put ourselves to the test as we try something new, learn about other cultures and peoples, and put all of our past knowledge into use as we discover how Music plays a part in our daily lives.
      I challenge the Lace students to do more than just "come to Music class." I want them not just to sing, but to feel; not just to play, but to experience; not just to hear, but to listen; and not just to look, but to see. I have every expectation that my students expect these things from me, too, and will keep me on my toes. I hope, that they will want to share with you, the experiences we have together, and that their Music education gives them a much broader view of the world in which they live.
      It is my hope that this web page will be a a useful tool to parents and students alike, providing information regarding performance dates and times, costumes, recorders, special events, Chorus, and Music Club. Occasionally, I will include a word puzzle or extra credit information for students, as well as any homework pages students may need to make up.
