As I teach I try to make the teaching concepts that I'm trying to teach as interesting and entertaining as possible. I've listed some of the web sites that the students have enjoyed and that I have found useful in teaching concepts.

Basic Facts Math Games

Spacey Math
This web site is filled with different kinds of math games. The one I've been using is Space Math.
Math Flash
This game practices basic facts in card format. It can be customized to show objects on the cards.
Alien Subtraction
This site practices subtraction facts. Find the answer before the bomb explodes.
Hidden Picture Math Game
This site has many educational math games. This one you must get the correct answer to turn over a piece and show part of the picture.
Assorted Math Activities
This web site has many varied games and math reviews that are fun and can be individualized for your child.
Math Racing
This site uses a racing format to review math facts.
Batman
In this game, it's Batman versus the Penguin in a game that reviews basic math facts.

This website has students finding words.
Betwen the Lions PBS
This website allows students to find the missing sounds in words.
Picture Match-Consonants & Vowel Sounds
This site shows a picture and the student decides what sound is the correct one. It reviews consonants, short vowels and long vowels.
Starfall
This is a great site. It has many things to do. There is material to read. There are activities to do to review letter sounds. There are activities that practice word families and long and short vowels.
