6th Graders, you have a test tomorrow on chapter 6 in social studies. You also have a quick quiz on conjunctions.

I handed out the new writing prompts today. Please mind the due dates. The first one is this Thursday.

Here is the new Spelling City link. Click Here!

I just watched a really cool documentary on the Hittites, a group we heard about in sixth grade social studies. There is more to this group, due to recent discoveries in cuneiform text, than we thought.

You can watch it here: Hittites: A Civilization that Changed the World

I want to send out a special thank you to Mr. Miyahira. He came in and gave a special lesson on some everyday Japanese.

Check out the Spider's Web! This is our class blog. You can check it out if you scroll down. Here, St. Patrick middle school students are are practicing their craft as young budding writers. Feel free to explore and comment on their blogs. Parents, this is a great way to check to see how your child is writing. You can be a part of the writing process as a home mentor.
