About the Schools St. Francis School Founded in 1965, St. Francis School is an independent, non-sectarian day school for children age 2 through grade 8. Serving over 400 students on two campuses, St. Francis offers a progressive educational experience that prepares students for high school, college and life. St. Francis has non-cut sport teams that encourage sll children to play. In the past 2 years our field hockey and soccer teams have both won the middle school championships. Creston is very fortunate to have our own wetland, and room for further development. Our mission statement: Our vision is to develop creative leaders who have the courage to face the future with: Knowledge Vision Harmony In our quest for excellence in a diverse society, we pursue a broad curriculum emphasising the values of integrity, self-discipline, independent thinking, loyalty and respect. The school is run by a very competent and supportive board of governors, and has a well structured leadership.
