A Message from The McVey PTA President

We still two committees that are open.

The first is Founders Day. There is one night meeting that you need to attend on December 6th at 7pm. At this meeting you are going to be picking up the invitation that needs to be copied and distributed into the teachers mailboxes. Then you would need to make sure that you go to our PTA meeting in Jan and Feb, if possible, to promote the event. We will have 3 Honorees from our school and you will just need to make sure that someone writes up a Bio about the person. Usually it is a close friend or family member that writes it and if they need samples of what has been done in the past I have last years book that was published in the folder that I will give you. It is a pretty simple committee to run and can be done at night for those parents that work.

The second is the Copy Committee. We need someone to help out with making copies for the By George. The By George is issued 4 times during the year. This is great for a working parent because they can make copies at night.
